My husband John and I, Amanda, own 17 acres right on the edge of what used to be the Strawberry Capital of the World, Pittsville, Maryland. We are a sustainable family farm who truly love what we do. We started very small in Salisbury, inside city limits, in a residential neighborhood, and we grew as big as we could on less than an acre. Naming ourselves after the road we started on Ard Brac Place was sort of tongue-in-cheek. Ard means a small elevation or hill and Brac is a name for a bluff, so a “small bluff” sounded like the perfect way to make things seem larger than life! In 2017 we bought 17 acres in Pittsville, bringing the name with us. Everything we had been doing on a small scale we could finally expand. We have expanded every year and we love learning as we provide good clean food to our community, friends, and family! We have a small vegetable CSA, pasture raised eggs, chickens, and pork. We grow strawberries, of course, lettuces, greens, root vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, melons, and even our own popping corn. Come by and see us!
